Before leaving Kansas City and heading to California, we got in a few last things. Aunt Tasha used to work at a fireworks stand and because of it, a few fireworks items are still at the house. There was question about whether they would still be good and not just explode, because Aunt Tasha hasn't worked there for a while. But, since it was just smoke balls, we decided how bad could it be. That is the optimal fireworks safety, right? :) Carter loved them. It was the start of the 4th of July fun for him.
After dinner, we headed to the park to play a little and walk around the pond. Trying to get all the time in we could, before heading out the next day.
