A Day at the Beach

Redwood National Park is gorgeous and has both forest and beach.  Everyone packed in to their cars and headed to the beach one day.  It is a very different beach than the Florida ones Carter had been to previously.  There was fog that rolled in and pretty much covered the beach for a little bit.  It didn't slow Carter down AT ALL.  He moved a ton of sand, built a sand castle with Aunt Lorel and ran around with everyone else.

Cousin Darren also taught him how to play horseshoes.

The day at the beach was followed up with a big family dinner where Carter showed Alexandra some of his favorite games.  It was a great end to our time in California.
