4 Year Pictures

We had Carter's pictures taken again this year to document him at 4.  We also got a few family shots. It was funny this year because Carter was much more in to it, but I don't think there were quite as many shots I just couldn't pass up.  There were still a TON of great ones, but it wasn't all of them like in some years past.  We got a lot of great ones of him though.

Always running and exploring.

Had to have his cars with him (always), and had to have a picture with them.  :)

Shoe Rentals?

The three of us headed to do a little bowling one Saturday.  Carter thought it was the coolest thing that they let you borrow some shoes to wear while you were there...me, not so much.  Why can't I just wear my tennis shoes to bowl.  Eww.

This is how everyone waits for their ball, right?

Memorial Day Weekend 2015

This Memorial Day was like the few before it.  While Scott headed to Indy to watch the race, Carter and I headed to Kansas City to hang out with family.  I mean, who wouldn't want to fly with this kid.

This trip was extra special though because we got to spend time with Carter's newest cousin Collins Jo.  We were so excited.  Carter kept close watch of her.

We also fit in some other activities and went to a T-Bones baseball game.  Crazy enough though, we needed coats and blankets because it was pretty chilly at the game...in May...in Missouri.  I had to check to make sure that is actually where we were.  We only lasted for part of the game because Collins, Carter and Pa Joe :) , were all getting too cold.

Of course, we also made it up to the farm to visit Grandma Helen.  Collins, Aunt Tasha and Uncle Trevor came too, so we were able to get some more time with them.  Someone is pretty proud.

And, there is always some 4-wheeler time.

End of School Celebration

After you have a great year at school, you get to pick a special dinner and activity to do.  Carter was beyond excited to get to have a 'Carter' day.  He of course picked Buffalo Wild Wings for dinner and then wanted to go to Fat Cats (an arcade place) after.  He was in heaven and we were happy to celebrate a great school year with him.

Last Day of Preschool (K3)

The year flew by in a hurry and Carter learned many new things at school.  He loved going every day and I hope that is always the case.  Can you tell I made him take pictures at 6am.  He still looked a little tired.  The day starts early at our house and he has to get up at about 6am every day.  He rarely complained about getting up and getting ready for school and if he did, it wasn't for long and only because he just wanted to sleep longer.  He definitely belongs to Scott and I.

See...quickly recovered from being tired.

One shot in his classroom.

Child Labor

This summer we began replacing floors in our house and updating some other things.  Carter was put to work and was actually really good at pulling the staples out of the subfloor.  If only he could paint.

After you pull staples out of a floor successfully, a happy dance (somewhat resembling the lord of the dance) is in order.
