Fall Colors

It was the beginning of fall in Colorado, so that means everyone goes and looks at the changing Aspen leaves around the state. We were no exception. We talked about going to a few different places, but decided on an area up by Fort Collins known as the Poudre River Canyon. When we started the drive it was gorgeous with the river running beside the road, but there weren't many aspen. We thought maybe we had missed the window for that area. About half way down the route though, it opened up and there were a bunch of aspens on the mountain side. We stopped and got a few pictures of Carter. Scott said the one looks like a Playboy photo shoot pose.

We also stopped in Walden, Colorado for lunch. It was a cute little town along Highway 14. Finally, there was some Carter and Eddie time in the back seat on the way home. The picture is through his mirror in the car, so not great, but definitely shows their new found connection.
