SIX Months Old

Carter is SIX months old. We can't believe it is already your half birthday. Where has the time gone! Six months has gone by so fast! Seems like I was just pregnant.

Carter at six months you:

-weigh 18lbs, 13.6oz (75th percentile).
-are 26.5 inches long (45th percentile).
-have a head circumference of 44.8cm (95th percentile).
-have started to have slight stranger anxiety. It takes a little bit for you to make sure someone is okay.
-are still in a size 3 diaper.
-are wearing 6mths or 6-9mths clothes although, the things that are straight 6 months are getting small.
-still have blue eyes.
-have more hair. It has grown on top a lot lately. The bald spot in the back is still trying to catch up.
-reach for EVERYTHING. You want anything in range, especially drinks.
-still just have two teeth.
-are still using your scream to get peoples attention, and it is sometimes ear piercing.
-have the cutest laugh.
-can sit up but still have some slight balance issues.
-can roll over like crazy.
-have some serious rolls as evidenced by your pictures at the doctor's office.
-got four shots plus a liquid one at your appointment and did very well!
-have just started solid foods and love them. You started with rice cereal and we are moving forward slowly from there. We want to avoid any allergies.

You are getting so big!
